GET/api/v1/tools/financials/lei-to-ticker

LEI to Ticker

Full reference →

Map a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) to its SEC ticker(s). Returns the LEI entity's name plus data.secEntities - one row per mapped SEC entity ({ticker, cik, name}); a single LEI can map to several SEC listings (e.g. share classes), so treat the array as the complete mapping. Use this as the bridge from an LEI (e.g. a sponsors_chain canonical LEI id, the lei field of Financial Metrics, or a Sponsor Profile identity) to ticker-based tools: Financial Metrics and Sponsor Profile. A 404 means no SEC ticker mapping exists - the entity may be privately held, not publicly traded, or not yet resolved; it does NOT mean the LEI is invalid or unknown. Malformed LEIs (not exactly 20 alphanumeric characters) return HTTP 400. This endpoint carries NO financial data itself - call Financial Metrics with a returned ticker for that.

Parameters

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
leistringYes20-character alphanumeric LEI (case-insensitive; uppercased automatically). Not exactly 20 alphanumeric characters returns HTTP 400.

Example request

curl -H "x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY" \
  "https://app.caelrith.com/api/v1/tools/financials/lei-to-ticker?lei=your_lei"

Financial Metrics

Full reference →

Structured financial metrics for publicly traded companies: cash, liquidity, burn rate, runway, operating cash flow, R&D expense TTM, and a transparent breakdown of derivations. An unknown or unmapped ticker returns HTTP 404; if you only have an LEI, resolve it to a ticker with the LEI to Ticker tool first.

Parameters

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
tickerstringYesSEC ticker symbol of the public company (max 10 characters). Uppercased automatically.

Example request

curl -H "x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY" \
  "https://app.caelrith.com/api/v1/tools/financials/metrics?ticker=your_ticker"
